About the course of study:
Economics is one of the most versatile and attractive fields of study. This is due to the fact that in Poland there is a widespread demand for well-educated graduates in economics, who are required to work in various branches of the economy as well as in state and local government administration. During their three-year undergraduate studies, students of economics at our university acquire a thorough and comprehensive knowledge of economic and other social sciences.
This provides graduates with a good knowledge of microeconomics and macroeconomics, statistics and accounting, social policy and economic policy, marketing and management, public finance and financial markets, business economics and economic analysis as well as international economic relations and the economics of European integration.

Managerial economics and business finance
The student acquires the theoretical and practical knowledge in the fields of finance, economics, law and taxation necessary for effective work in a managerial position. Students will analyse the financial phenomena taking place in a company and its decision-making process in a comprehensive manner from both an operational and strategic point of view. They will gain an understanding of the interrelationships and relationships within them. Through a variety of exercises and decision-making games, graduates will acquire the ability to actively influence the improvement of their own company’s performance.
Local government economy
The student acquires theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of economics, law, regional economy, social economy, necessary for effective work in public administration, including local government administration. Graduates are prepared to work in various organizational units of the public sector, including organizational units of local government, they have skills in obtaining and analyzing information necessary for rational management of public funds and advanced knowledge in the field of administrative law, local government, and social policy.
