About the course of study:
During the two-year degree programme, students of economics complete their knowledge of economic and other social sciences and gain advanced knowledge within one of four selectable specialisations. This provides graduates with a good knowledge of, inter alia, micro- and macro-economics, statistics and accounting, social policy and economic policy, marketing and management, public finance and financial markets, business economics and economic analysis as well as international economic relations and the economics of European integration.
We strive to educate in a way that is modern and meets the contemporary needs of the labour market. Students on the Economics course are taught using financial and accounting programmes

Specialities/educational profiles:
Real estate management
The students acquire the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to serve the broadly understood real estate market users. Students are prepared to carry out analyses and forecasts concerning the real estate market, to trade and manage real estate. They are able to assess the profitability of investments in the real estate market, advise on the sale, purchase and valuation of real estate. Students in this specialisation may find employment in property development companies, real estate management institutions, banks and institutions financing the real estate market or local government institutions managing real estate.
Financial management
The students gains theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of financial management and accounting, both in companies and in local government institutions, as well as in the banking sector. Graduates are prepared to conduct accounting and financial reporting. They can perform economic-financial analyses, assess economic projects, and understand corporate financial and tax strategies
